The Gift Show in California went well... like there was ever any doubt.

The comicbook, Begoths Vol. 2: Ophelia Where Art Thou?, has been pushed back to hopefully only March, but believe me IT-IS-WORTH-THE-WAIT!!! The cover art is SMASHING!!! Like their dolls the artwork has gotten better! Grab a Diamonds Previews Magazine and see for yourself... and while you're at it, preorder it!

*screams* The Toy Fair is in ONE WEEK!!!! Feb. 11-14th!!!! I'll be joining Begoths on the 14th for my birthday!!! So sweet!
Again, they'll be showing the 1st wave of the Series 6 12" dolls! I can't wait! I wonder what they did to Storm this year.

It is yet another busy time of year for our dedicated troop!
In just a few days they will be at the California Gift Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center. February 11th - 14th they will be in New York for the International Toy Fair at the Javitts Center and then at the end of February, the ASD Gift Show in Las Vegas! <~~~ No wonder they can't make it to the NYC Comic Con! Well, we can't be greedy and hog them completely. Wish we could though!
Ahem... unfortunately, none of these shows are open to the public. I wonder if I can sneak in? Paparazzi style!
The Spring release of the 12" Series 6 dolls (only three! So, don't get your hopes up on seeing more. Heehee) will be shown in New York and Las Vegas.

P.C. was born to a rodeo clown father
and an albino, animal balloon artist mother.
P.C. traveled the world and his first job was
in a razor blade manufacturing plant,
where he sorted the defective blades from
the good ones. He was accident prone,
but his boss felt he had talent and promoted
him to the lumberyard; where he inspected huge,
sharp saw blades. One day he was found
decapitated, yet concious, near one of the giant
spinning blades. His body and head were packed
on ice and he's now a miracle of modern surgery.
P.C. met the Begoths crew recently at a screening
of “Carnival Of Souls”. There were some tender
moments sharing popcorn & P.C. was adopted by
the Bleeding Edge family. His job is to protect the
Bleeding Edge warehouse during the graveyard
shift. His parents have retired from clowning
around and live in Florida. They're very proud
of their son.

Omg... over 2 months since my last update. I'm such a horrible blogger... actually it's all Myspace's fault! Lol I actually get messages there. Anyway...

My Begoths family is still growing... actually I've gotten about 30 or so more since the last update. So, I was partially busy grabbing the ones I missed. Also did some serious hunting for the extremely hard to find.... and I mean EXTREMELY! To the point where it's hard to even find them on Ebay.

Pre-order Received!

Ok, I'm totally back from being side tracked. I received my Series 5 pre-order along with the Rebecca's Realm and Begoths comic book yesterday! And let me tell you I couldn't be more happy. The dolls look so beautiful in person! The pictures definitely don't do them any justice especially Ivanna Scream. Storm looks great as always. I don't know if it's just my doll, but she looks like she's actually smiling. I put her next to my other Storms and she's the only smiling one. She's probably happy that she's going to visit Grandma. ^_^;

The comic book was done wonderfully... the artwork, the story... fabulous! I like how one of the characters is a reference to Stefan, Steve Varner's son. Plus, there are 3 stories packed into one comic book. Maybe all the characters will meet someday? Who knows, but that would definitely be interesting. I can't wait until volume 2 comes out in January 2007! I got real excited... like a giddy lil high school girl... that a nice chunk of the cast was from Long Island, like me! I wonder if they'll ever put Storm in. She's practically their mascot. ^_^

Rebecca's Realm is a compilation of most of her toons, minus a few recent ones. All is protected by a hardbound cover. Great for flinging at people. Totally, kidding!

Hello! This is my very 1st blog and I'm pretty excited about this. Here I'll get to rave on about my favorite toy line BEGOTHS created by Steve Varner. Though I love most of the 12" dolls and 7" figurines, I'm completely in love with Storm O'Misery. It must be the braids and "X"ed out contacts. She's been around ever since the beginning (Series 1 -5).

Right now I'm, along with fellow devoted fans, awaiting the results of the BEGOTHS wallpaper contest. I can't wait!!!! Lol I've been checking the website since Tuesday to see who the winners are. Buuuuut I guess they've gotten tons of submissions and having a hard time deciding. Hey, even better... tons more wallpaper to download!

Well, until I get the full hang of this blog life here's a preview of one of my submissions. Hope you enjoy it!
